Pleasure Garden: the process
The First Stage

The purpose of this project is to develop an overall organiztional scheme that will define the general site and volumetric planning of project through drawing inspiration from collage or geometry
The project started from creating random collages through simple grometry and then choose three collages that has potential to be developed to something more interesting. The first row of figure ground drawing is my choosen collage. I later developed them into more complex form. Lastly, I took my chosen siteplan design to test solar envelop based on Melbourne weather.
The Second Stage
After the solar envelop test, I decided to choose one of them to develop it further. In this stage, I focus on defining the landscape design including landform, planting and hard landscape material.
Once I settle with my landscape design, I then work on planning my planting location and research about each plant species and how they relate to seasonal changes.

Before and After
The Third Stage
The emphasis here is to give more definition to the architectural elements of the project and to finalize the overall design. I focus on developing the “figures” or pavilions in the figure ground and volumetric framework that I have developed in the early stages. I also produce a series of drawings, diagrams and imagery that will graphically communicate several important properties associated with your design proposal. This will allow me to develop your capacity for communicating the many facets of a design proposal through graphic mean
